I.Features of flange type glass lined reactor:

 

Advantage:

1. Flanged glass-lined reactor is also called open-type glass-lined reactor. The cover and body of the reactor are fixed with clamps. Therefore, when the reactor cover or the body is damaged, it can be replaced separately, which reduces the maintenance cost.

2. The flange type glass-lined reactor can be equipped with an anchor agitator, which has a better homogenization effect for materials with high viscosity.

 

Disadvantages:

1. As the reactor body and cover may be deformed during the glass lining process in furance, the volume of all flanged glass-lined reactor is not recommended to exceed 16000L, so the volume of the reactor tank is limited.

2. Since the direct sealing surface of the tank cover and the tank body is larger, leakage is more likely to occur, so when the pressure is high, it should be carefully selected.
