How to perform non-destructive testing on glass lined reactors
Non-destructive testing refers to a series of tests that do not damage or affect the performance of the tested equipment and the internal organization of the tested equipment. Then, how to perform non-destructive testing for glass lined reactors?
1. Before non-destructive testing, the welded joints should pass the shape, size and appearance inspection, and the image on the negative film in the non-standard state of the surface must not cover up or interfere with the defective image. Therefore, the necessary finishing should be carried out on the detection part.
2. The Class A and Class B welded joints of the inner container and tank lid of the third type glass lined pressure vessel with a design pressure greater than or equal to 1.6MPa, including butt welded joints with a nominal diameter greater than or equal to 250mm, shall undergo 100% radiographic inspection Or recordable ultrasonic testing.
3. Class A and B welded joints of glass lined pressure vessel equipment other than those specified above, including butt welded joints with a nominal diameter greater than or equal to 250mm, shall be subject to local radiographic testing or recordable ultrasonic testing. The length, proportion and parts that must be inspected should be installed with the provisions of GB150 and drawings.
4. The length, proportion and parts of the glass lined atmospheric pressure reactor and equipment X-ray or ultrasonic testing shall be conducted in accordance with the regulations of JB/T4735.
5. The welded joints of the upper and lower connecting rings and the inner container of pressure vessels such as glass lined reactors shall be tested for leakage by kerosene or other appropriate inspection methods, and there shall be no leakage. The welded joint between the half pipe and the inner container should also be subjected to 100% surface non-destructive inspection.
6. For the welded joints of equipment such as glass lined reactors that have undergone partial non-destructive inspection, if an excessive defect is found at the inspection site, a supplementary local inspection of no less than 250mm should be carried out at the extension of both ends of the defect; For defects, the welded joint should be fully tested.
Non-destructive testing of glass lined reactors can better confirm the condition of the machine, whether it can be sold, and whether it meets the standards. The quality of products that have passed non-destructive testing must be good, so you can use them with confidence.
